Driving Ms. IGNIS…

I drove… I drove and I drove…

March 26,2018. We brought Ms. IGNIS home…

Her goregous body… her swrilling curves… and her generous back.

The day I saw her I fell in love with her. Though recommended by my wifey only 🙂

Her spectacularity can take any blind man for a ride.
Therefore, she was the Automatic choice for me.

Guys… chill … Ladies dont take offence… I am talking about the car IGNIS from Suzuki….

I know its a family platform and not a Koffee with Karan show….

Coming back… driving was no fun to me… I was the laziest driver and would prefer the seat on the left. Rightly so considering the crazy traffic around.

First the car was a want… gradually with my Junior growing up along with the my waist line it became a need.

A need for which we had to climb an extra mile to fulfill it.

My wifey was determined to upgarde our lifestyle.

And as the famous words go When you desire something badly enough, the entire universe conspires to give it to you from The Alchemist.

It happened…Eureka…

Now was the decesion time.

We both were clear in our head that the first car had to be a Maruti…

We enquired about Hyundai but even SRK could not convince us.

We drove Tata Tiago also. But the Trust and goodwill of the group did not encourage us to change our mind…

Thats called brand power. No celebrity endorsement / image works when the brand is so powerful in its category, like Maruti.

We test drove Celerio, almost finalized it.

But one day my wifey introduced me to her.

What more invitation I needed.. As I rode it for the first time… I am still riding it….

With a ground clearence of 180mm, powerful 1200 cc engine… wheel base of 2435 mm, Fuel effieciency of 20 km, Auto gear shift, Ignis makes the best choice in this segment.

Not to mention the embedded safety air bags in all the models…

Ofcourse then u have the various gizmos attached to it… the bluetooth, auto contolled windows etc.etc..

The smart Tinsel blue color of the same adds to the smartness.

This city has a crazy traffic… Unorgainzed and the most pathetic traffic sense.

Driving on these roads can be really adventurous… I dared too… At that point had no choice as we had bought a car which was meant to be driven but was acting more like a showpiece…

Patience is the key to everything and it applies to driving too. Unfortunately I had lost that key… but then sniffed around myself and found it.

My highway love began from Diwali time.(November 2018).

3 trips to my hometown Udaipur… (2000 kms) including one day tour, alongwith elite friends made me a confident driver…

My city driving skills also improved. No more goose bumps to drive into Alphaone mall on a Sunday afternoon.

The latest trip to Rajkot – Jamnagar (600 kms in 2days) was an icing on the cake…

There r many positive outcomes which has evolved. It is helping me to be more focussed and patient… Its definitely a stress buster…

I enjoy conversations with the winds while driving…

Its just a start for me… though a late one but at least I started… I conquered my fear…

There were critics too. “Its a toy car”, I respect their views as they r far more experts… but i think driving is a mental thing…

And yes,the Auto gear shift helped. But why not, if there is a technology available, use it. As Aamir Khan quoted in 3 Idiots, Machines are designed to make human life easier and simpler.

As somebody has quoted:

“The way I drive, the way I handle a car, is an expression of my inner feelings“.

And as the famous movie dialogue goes:

“Men love women, but even more than that, men love cars.”

I love my car, but I love my woman too

Happy Driving…
