The most popular food joint in South Bopal, Shivam Snacks. Visited there quite a few times but the last visit on 19.11.2016 was a special one as we visited there ‘CASHLESS’….
It reminds of ‘High Point’ restaurant in Lokhandwala (Mumbai) which we used to visit regularly. The menu comprises of everything.
It traverses thru the interiors of South India to our Chinese friend ‘China’….. The route though from the spicy Bollywood to the evergreen Punjab..
Yes I am talking of the delicacies offered at Shivam snacks.. So if you have a South Indian, a Mumbaikar or a Punjabi or even a Chinese in your family, you can take all of them to this restaurant and feed them…
As cashless this time, we were little skeptical about the payments. The restaurant usually does not accept card payments…but this time ‘AXIS Bank’ had done their job… Though when enquired, the manager told us that the server is down .. Murphy’s law… But he was polite to offer us credit and said if you live nearby write your contact details, we will call you once server is up.. ‘Ten points’ for this..
And of course the food is like Manmohan Desai – multistarrer blockbuster movie. Sabko Pasand atta hai..
We started with 1×2 Tomato soup, which was hot as Vani Kapoor.. if you don’t know who is she.. please see ‘Befikre’s trailor…
We ordered ‘Dhosas’(as printed on their menu card), Mysore Masala, Rava masala and Masala… the three musketeers.. Also ordered ‘Bhaji Pav’… and not Pav Bhaji… What is the logic behind called a Pav Bhaji a Bhaji Pav in Gujarat.. Can somebody throw alight on the same?
